Keeping Up with Parco!

14th - 27th of July

Here we go—no time to rest, because we’re bringing you a MU Dance Workshop! Cool vibes and cool people meet here in Monesiglio, bringing a lot of energy. The dance workshops took place all week, from July 14th to July 18th, with morning and afternoon sessions, plus some special events in the evenings.
We were there providing support and visibility — taking photos and videos for social media, setting up spaces for lunch and dinner in the park near the gym and castle, serving food, and preparing areas for the events.
One of the events was Reality Check, a performance created by Irene Valesano, Nicolas Sanchez and Jean Loutre. On another evening, we had a concert - The sound of nature by Alex Leon, that turned into a jam session (yes, we joined—and yes, we loved it!). On the final day, we had a big dinner together with local friends, followed by an open space. Some dancers shared their performances, others played instruments, and a few even sang a cappella in one of the castle rooms—the acoustics were incredible, and the atmosphere on those nights was truly unmatched.
But then... reality check hit: time to clean dishes. So many dishes!

And now, I’d like to give a warm welcome to our new volunteer, Beatrise from Latvia, who joined our team during this MU Dance Week. 

Ciao!! Beatrise here, I came to Monesiglio in the middle of July and what a ride it has been so far! I came right in the middle of MU Dance Workshop so immediately there was so much happening! Not gonna lie I was a bit overwhelmed with everything at first, but then I got a chance to settle a bit more and so far I am enjoying my time here. I explored Monesiglio and also had a chance to visit Bergolo, both are such beautiful places! As for the people, l I will say that I have never met so many nice and cool people in the same place as I have here. With that being said I am excited about what the future holds for me here in Monesiglio. See you around! :)
