Keeping Up with Parco!

5th May - 18th May

Hello everyone!

Pablo and I decided writte this blog post together, so here we go!

This first week of the month we were mainly focused in photograpic tasks! On Monday, Ebru, Rita and me went to Cortemilia, one of the biggest towns in our region, to take pictures to add them in our article for the Tourist Office. We walk all the town, we also had breakfast in a local cafee, and we enjoy in the nature as well as talking with the locals. We also went to some of the churches and hike up to the tower! Do you want to know more about Cortemilia and all the things it has to offer? Check our article!

And on Friday, Veso, Pablo and me went to Millessimo and Cosseria, two towns that make part of “Bormida Gotica” itinerary. So we were looking for medieval architecture! Having the opportunity to travel and discover the beautiful places of the region make me feel so lucky and some how closer to this place and its history and its people.

Thursday next week…

At 15:00pm, I gave a speech in a school of Cortemilia about Spanish culture and history. I was nervous seeing the focused audience, but I valued the experience. Later, at 20:00pm, new olunteers arrived, and we enjoyed meeting each other, feeling welcomed by everyone's kindness.

Friday

Ari and I decided to embark on a pleasant bike ride to the charming villages of Levice and Prunetto, which are located in close proximity to the area of Bergolo. Our main objective was to put up colorful posters in preparation for the exciting festival that is scheduled to take place in June.

This week has been very productive, as I’ve carried out various administrative tasks based on the needs of the association. Now, with the new volunteers who are here for a month, we're mainly socializing with them and getting to know each other better.
