Keeping Up with Parco!

October 6th - 19th

Hi! It’s Noaaa😋, and my first time writing something longer here. I’m so excited to explain to you what happened these weeks, because we had lots of interesting things happening, so here we go!

We started the week with a beautiful full moon, so we did a “ritual” with the PARCO girls to leave the things that are not working anymore (from ourselves, situations, people…) and manifest the ones that we want to achieve. I really enjoyed doing that as a start to the week; it was so beautiful to share a moment like this with Natalia and Ebru. I love them so much <3.

During the first week, we also cleaned the big windows from the office, trying to jump sometimes to arrive, had a photography workshop by Merche, Elif’s knowledge sharing happening, & a dinner with Bergolo volunteers at Drago’s… And, on Sunday, I almost stayed locked in the 🪦 because I didn’t know that at 18:00 it closes automatically 🤣. That’s how I met a new person who, the day after, came to the Speaking Club HAHAHAH. She just entered the cemetery to warn me about that. Funny anecdotes from Monesiglio when you’re quite new here. 🌺🙃

A bit of the second week :)

On Monday, we were around 12 people in the Speaking Club (I’ve never seen this many people since I arrived, so for me it was crazy), and, on Wednesday, we went to Bergolo because 60 teenagers came to do some activities there, so we helped with the preparation and stayed a bit with them. :)

For another part, it was also crazy because everyone “disappeared”: two volunteers from Bergolo on the on arrival, three in Lecce, one new volunteer coming, and Ebru from Parco leaving…

Movement is the perfect word to describe the week from the 13th of October, hahah.

We will see what happens from now and then…
